The Helite airbag lanyard connects directly to the piston with a keyball that will activate the CO2 cartridge in case of a fall. Each airbag comes with a lanyard installed. Simply attach the carabiner to the saddle strap to install it. 

If you have multiple saddles, you can install a strap on each one to help you get on your horse quickly with your airbag. To ensure reliable and fast inflation, you must use the strap.
